Clover Station. This is a PCI 3.1 USB PIN Pad ready for ApplePay™, NFC
and EMV. The FD40 works
directly the FD130 or the Clover Station 2018 credit card terminal to
provide a secure payment solution for any merchant processing through
First Data. Merchants can use this pin pad to accept both EBT payments
and debit card transactions.
The FD40 PIN Pad will turn on. Allow the device some time to boot up. Once the FD40 device shows the First Data logo, check to see that a red and green circle are both displaying at the top of the screen to the left of the time display.Now, open up the PINPad App and wait for the FD40 to connect. You will see a screen with a spinning circle and the text “Connecting.” The FD40 may take a few minutes to connect. Once the FD40 has connected, you will see the PINPad Terminal OK authentication message on your Clover Station. When you see two green circles on the FD40 to the left of the time display, this indicates that your PIN Pad device has connected.
